Song of the day:
Wayback Wednesday
In honor of going to my first concert in two and a half years on Friday I’m throwing it back to the last time I attended a concert in November of 2019. The band was Switchfoot, and as always, they were amazing. I had two shows planned for December of that year but cancelled after I pulled my hamstring because driving to San Francisco was not an option. I believe I had another show planned for January or February of 2020 as well as some others in the later months of that same year. All those got rescheduled to start with…then rescheduled again, then most of them ended up being cancelled. In a couple of cases I sold the tickets because I wasn’t ready to attend a show in the middle of a pandemic. I’m still not sure I’m ready but I’ve got four vaccines coursing through my veins, as well as a mask and vaccine requirement for the show, so I’m feeling okay.
But my real question is - Do I still know how to concert? Do I remember how to deal with the crowds and the hoopla? Do I know how my camera works so I can take the good pictures? Do I know how to stand up for that many hours at a time? I guess we’ll find out.
Oh, who am I seeing? Here are your clues:
Boy Band
Vegas
ARMY
Purple
Grammy Award Show Performers
Did you figure it out?
