Song of the day:
My sentiments after that debacle of a football game last night…Not sure who was in those TCU uniforms but it sure didn’t look like the same team that beat Michigan last week. And so it goes…
TV Tuesday
As I mentioned yesterday I watched a lot of TV over the weekend so here’s a little recap…what have you been watching?
Manifest - Season 4 / Netflix: I love this show! I started watching Season 4 as soon as it came out but only got through a couple of episodes so I sat down this weekend and watched the rest. Apparently the final episodes are coming sometime this year, and while I’ll be sad to see the show in I’m honestly not sure how much more they could do.
Emily in Paris - Season 3 / Netflix: I am fully committed to this show and fully binged the third season over the weekend. It’s ridiculous and fun and sweet and outrageous all the same time, and I love it! I’m gonna need them to go ahead and release season 4 later this year.
Enola Holmes 2 / Netflix: I randomly watched the first movie sometime last year and truly enjoyed it so it was a no-brainer to watch the sequel. I found it just as entertaining as the first and hope they make more!
Love, Lizzo / HBO Max: I actually watched this instead of the football game last night after it was clear that nothing good was going to come from that. This was a great documentary, and if you’re any kind of fan of Lizzo, I highly recommend checking it out. I learned so much!
Black Adam / HBO Max: I sort of wanted to see this in the theatre because I do like Dwayne Johnson, but I just couldn’t bring myself to go. I’m definitely more of a Marvel person than I am DC, but still, it looked interesting. And I wouldn’t say it was a favorite but I enjoyed it. And I’m glad I was tucked into my own couch watching instead of a movie theatre seat.
I also took in the new Hallmark movies this weekend, The Wedding Veil Expectations and Family History Mysteries: Buried Past. I enjoyed them both and look forward to the next offerings in both series. I’m also excited about Hallmark’s new original series that starts next week, The Way Home. Anyone else planning to watch?
Happy Birthday, Frannie!
I can’t let the day go by without wishing Frannie a very happy birthday! Stay warm and eat lots of cake…and go play with the cute pup in the photo below!
Video of the day:
Marvel released a new trailer for their next film, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, today and it looks even better than I thought. You can never go wrong with a really good villain. Can’t wait to see it!
