Song of the day:
TV Tuesday
One of my favorite Hallmark series came to an end on Sunday. Chesapeake Shores was a nice family drama with a lot of characters and a lot of story lines; love, heartbreak, drama, humor, and more. The cast had great chemistry and they let them have a nice ending. Anyone else watch this one?
Several of the CW dramas I watch returned last week:
All American and All American: Homecoming. I definitely like the original show better than the spinoff - I mean hello, it has Taye Diggs, but I’m giving season two of Homecoming a try. So far it’s not doing a lot for me. We’ll see how it goes.
Kung Fu. I love this show. The action is incredible and the story is good, too…very dramatic, very unrealistic, but also very touching, and it takes place in San Francisco so that’s fun.
I watched one of the Hallmark movies this weekend, Autumn Dreams, and it was decent. It seriously made me want to go back to New York City. But what I’m more excited about is Hallmark Christmas Movie season which starts on Friday - YAY!! Who else is on the countdown?
This weekend I also watched the Channing Tatum movie, Dog, that came out earlier this year, and it was good! It’s not a true story but, I believe, written based on various accounts of service members and the dogs they worked with while overseas. I thought it was a decent look at what war does to both humans and animals. Also, both Channing and the dogs are super cute so you know, it’s worth a watch. 😁
Finally, not on TV, but I think I need to see Black Adam, the new DC superhero movie. I don’t typically love the DC movies, being such a big Marvel fan, but I think this one has potential. Most of the cast was on Kelly yesterday, and they played several clips that I hadn’t seen, and it made me a little more excited about it. I know nothing about the character or the story but hey, it’s big and flashy and sometimes that’s enough. Anyone else gonna see this one?

You need to check out Alaska Daily, it's on Thursday nights on ABC. Our favorite new show, it's a drama about the importance of local newspapers and the epidemic of MMIW (Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women). It's a really good show with great characters and it's nice to see a show set in Alaska, which is rarely shown. Highly recommended.
