Top Ten Tuesday
Well, we’ve done Top Ten Christmas songs - 2 varieties - so I think it’s time for Top Ten Christmas Albums…here we go! FYI, I used two criteria for this list: one, the album didn’t come out this year and two, I like every single song on it, not just a few.
Glow by Brett Eldredge
A Very Special Christmas 2 by Various Artists
December by Mac Powell & the Family Reunion
Fragile by Nichole Nordeman
Wrapped in Red by Kelly Clarkson
My Gift to You by Alexander O’Neal
The Preacher’s Wife Soundtrack by Whitney Houston and the Georgia Mass Choir
Christmas Offerings by Third Day
First Christmas by Bebe/Cece (Winans, for those who don’t know)
This is Christmas by Luther Vandross
And, in case you’re looking for a new album of instant Christmas classics, I suggest picking up Rob Thomas’ first-ever Christmas album, Something About Christmas Time, as well as Kelly Clarkson’s second Christmas album, When Christmas Comes Around. They are both excellent.
What are some of your favorite Christmas albums? Let me know in the comments!
