This is 58...
2026.02.04
It was 58 years ago today that I came into the world, arriving a week or so after my due date because apparently I had my own timeline and wanted to have the coolest birthdate ever: 2-4-68.
It feels weird to be almost 60. Like 60 was OLD when I was a kid, but now it feels pretty young. I still feel young, and most of the time act it, too. There are certainly days when I feel ancient - like watching the Grammys and wondering who let all the children in - but most of the time, it’s hard for me to believe I’m even in my 50s, much less two years away from 60.
I don’t have anything profound or interesting to say about turning 58. I just wanted to write a quick note to thank you all for being part of my life in one way or another over the years. I truly don’t take any of you for granted. Even if I don’t know you personally, the fact that you decided to subscribe to my blog (and even read it sometimes!) makes me thankful.
Now I’m off to enjoy various and sundry birthday activities like cake and sparkling tea and hockey. Let’s Go, Sharks!

Sweet Action—keep moving and seek to catch me!
I love that 2-4-68 is your birthday and that we're only 47 days apart! Happy Birthday!
