Song of the day:
It’s always a little sad when the birthday of a loved one who is no longer here hits…and today is that day. My dad’s dad, whom I called Grandaddy, would have been 107 today had he lived this long. We lost him 20 years ago, and he’s definitely in a much better place, but he’s still dearly missed. Here he is with my dad from the year I graduated high school (a long, long time ago).
TGIF, everyone!
I don’t know exactly why, but this week felt exceptionally long. Maybe it’s my lack of sleep, or how insanely busy work has been, or you know… **gestures at everything going on in the world**. Whatever the reason, I’m so happy we made it to Friday!
I only have a couple of plans this weekend, and they’re both fun: dinner with a friend on Saturday and a facial on Sunday. JOY! I already know I’m gonna have to do some work, too, but I can do that from the comforts of home so it’s all good. I also need to catch up on a lot of TV that recorded this week. But mostly, I need to find time to rest.
October is about to be INSANE with two concerts, two trips (1 for work, 1 for fun), and a myriad of things at work…it’s gonna be November in about five minutes.
So, on that note, let me wrap this up and get things moving. The sooner I get to work and dive in to whatever I left unfinished yesterday, the sooner I can come home and chill.
I hope you have a fantastic weekend ahead filled with all the things you think are awesome. See you next time!

I remember all of these days. Many good memories and hopefully a few more in the years ahead.
