Sad news...

No songs or videos today, no national day information, just some sad news.

I learned yesterday that my neighbor and friend Mike passed away Tuesday night due to heart failure. Honestly, getting the news was shocking, as the last update I’d received was that he was doing much better and talking about rehab.

Getting that news put a different perspective on my day. Meetings seemed less interesting and it was hard to focus at times. I know God’s timing is perfect, and that He has a reason for everything, but that doesn’t make this any less awful.

Life is short, y’all. Don’t take a single moment for granted.
