So there you have it. I’m guessing I’ll get about 4 of these right…we’ll see how it goes…I’ll do a follow up on Monday. Anyone else planning to watch the show on Sunday night? Any guesses on the winners?
In related news, I saw The Color Purple yesterday, and it was fantastic! I have no idea how it’s not nominated in the Best Picture category, but I digress. I loved the original movie, as well as the stage production, and this did not disappoint. The cast was brilliant, and the music was great. I highly recommend it!
And yes, I wore a good mask because other people were in the theatre. And because I wear one everywhere. Because COVID is still a thing!! Please be careful. I know so many people who have gotten COVID recently, and thankfully they all had fairly mild cases because they were fully vaccinated and take precautions. But this new strain is extremely contagious, so please don’t risk it. Get the latest vaccine - for flu, too - wear a good mask, and avoid situations where others aren’t masked if at all possible. I double-masked on my flights to and from Colorado because I wasn’t about to take a single chance on getting it again. No thank you. I didn’t want to get anything else either, to be fair.
Okay, let me step down from my soap box…
I hope everyone is enjoying their new year, and having a good week. Enjoy your weekend, and I’ll see you here again next week!
Video of the day:
Seriously. Go see this movie.
