Song of the day:
Happy Sharks Friday!
The Sharks officially started their season a week ago overseas but since they lost both of those games we are starting over today. They may lose every game this year but it’s still hockey so YAY!! I’m excited about going to the home opener tonight, but I’m also nervous because you know, PANDEMIC. It’s exactly how I felt last weekend before my concerts. Like I wanna go have the big fun but have the constant worry of getting exposed and worse yet, actually getting COVID.
Okay, this was supposed to be a fun post because HOCKEY!! So let me just swing it back to that. The last regular season hockey game I went to was April 26 so it’s been a while. I’m looking forward to seeing a friend tonight for the first time since around this time last year and seeing what this new version of the Sharks looks like. I’m not expecting much but maybe they’ll surprise me. I certainly hope so.
Anyway…LET’S GO, SHARKS!!
#FridayReads
I started this book a few days ago, after finishing an early read of a forthcoming book which I can’t tell you anything about. Sorry, not sorry. I’m enjoying Luck of the Titanic, a fictional story that takes place aboard the doomed ship. So far it’s excellent. I’ll probably finish it up this weekend and then I’m going to dive into a new book I received this week, Better Than We Found It. I think it’s going to be another good one.
What are you reading this weekend?
