Song of the day:
Happy May!
I truly have no idea how it’s May already. Wasn’t it just January like three days ago? This year has truly been a blur. I feel like I lost all of February and a little of March, then part of April and even a little of January to be honest. It’s hard to know what May is going to look like, but I do have a number of plans outside of work…
Seeing two concerts - Billy Porter, Matchbox Twenty w/Matt Nathanson
Seeing one musical - 1776
Seeing friends
Celebrating my mom’s birthday and mother’s day, albeit from afar
Seeing a movie or two
Enjoying a holiday
Anyone out there have any big plans for May?
I haven’t been watching the NBA or NHL playoffs, but I’ve been checking in on the scores and wow, a LOT of series have gone seven games. I don’t actually care who wins either trophy - although I’ll certainly cheer for the Nuggets and the Warriors - as long as it’s not the Lakers in the NBA. It would be pretty cool if the Nuggets came through to the finals but that’s gonna be a tough road. Still, I’d definitely turn those games on. As for the NHL, again, don’t really care as long as it’s not Edmonton or Vegas. They play each other in the next round so one will be out for sure. It would be kinda fun to see Seattle win, but I would also hate it since the Sharks still haven’t won…and likely won’t for a long time. Sigh…
In other sports news, the baseball teams for my two alma maters are both ranked in the Top 25 right now…would love to see them both make it to the College World Series. And one of these days I really want to see that event in person.
Not much else happening over here. I hope the first day of May treats you well.

Good words. May is the busiest for me this May. Short travels but several
