Song of the day:
And so begins a busy weekend…
Okay, technically the weekend doesn’t begin until I get off work later today but hey, you might not be reading this until later so there you go. I have a lot going on this weekend but it’s mostly fun.
The fun kicks off tonight with the Alice in Winterland concert, featuring Matt Nathanson, OneRepublic and John Mayer. I believe Kelsea Ballerina is also performing as well as someone else I don’t know. Yeah, it’s quite a lineup. And it’s in my town so I don’t even have to drive elsewhere to see it! And bonus, a friend from New York flew out for her birthday for the show so I’m hoping to see her for a minute as well.
Tomorrow night another friend and I are going to Enchant (also here in town!), a cool Christmas light display and market thing. We don’t completely know what it is but it looks amazing. I just hope the rain stops long enough for us to enjoy it.
And finally, on Sunday afternoon, I’m heading to San Francisco to see Ain’t Too Proud, the musical about the Temptations. I’m very excited about this one. And hey, I still have two extra tickets so if you’re interested in joining, let me know! It’s the last show of the SF run so you might wanna come. Just saying.
Somewhere in between all of this I’m planning to package up the gifts to get them ready to ship and finally - FINALLY - start decorating my house! I’m so late this year and it’s making me cranky. It is decidedly NOT festive in here yet, which is absolutely not yay. Fingers crossed I can get at least one tree up this weekend.
So yeah…BUSY weekend ahead. Anyone out there doing anything fun this weekend? Whatever you’re doing, hope you have some fun and have some time to rest up for coming week. And if you happen to be a voter in Georgia, by all means, get out and vote for Mr. Warnock!!
