Song of the day:
I was messaging with a friend the other day about favorite Christmas albums, and for my money, Rob Thomas’ Something About Christmas is definitely near the top. She mentioned Christina Aguilar’s holiday album, which I’ve never listened to but definitely should. So it got me thinking…what are my top ten favorite Christmas albums? At least as of today…it could easily change depending on the day I think. Also, these are in alphabetical order by the name of the artist/band, because trying to say which is number one is far too difficult.
Alexander O’Neal - My Gift to You
Amy Grant - Home for Christmas
Bebe/Cece - First Christmas
Luther Vandross - This is Christmas
Mariah Carey - Merry Christmas
Nichole Norman - Fragile
Relient K - Let it Snow Baby…Let it Reindeer
Rob Thomas - Something About Christmas
Third Day - Christmas Offerings
Whitney Houston - The Preacher’s Wife Soundtrack
There are literally hundreds of other Christmas albums, possibly thousands!, and I like so many of them, but it’s got to be extra special to make the top ten. What about you? What are you favorite Christmas albums? Let us know in the comments.
I’m sure most of you have seen posts on social media about someone’s Spotify Wrapped for 2023. I used to do the Spotify thing but switched exclusively to Apple from so I didn’t get one of those fancy lists. However, Apple did something similar and here’s what my 2023 in music looked like…
No surprises for me…let me know what some of your top albums, songs and artists were.
Okay, that’s all for now…see you back here soon!
